This vehicle allocates and administers flexible financing to eligible projects under the Federal New Markets Tax Credits program administered by the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund.

Fresh Grocer of Monument

Brown’s Super Stores acquired a former supermarket in Philadelphia, PA in a nationally designated food desert and significantly disadvantaged community. The 58,189 square feet supermarket underwent renovations and replacement of equipment and fixtures. The Project will provide heatlhy food with a focus on sustainability, health, greening food deserts, re-entry programs, and public-private partnerships.

The Youth Employment Academy (YEA) is an operating business that will lease space from DHA Collaborative Facility (another RUGF NMTC recipient) to operate a 4,604 SF fresh food market, called Choice Market located in the ground floor of the building.

DHA Collaborative

Denver Housing Authority’s Collaborative Resource Facility is located at a HOPE VI site just north of the 10th and Osage light rail station in the midst of Denver Housing Authority’s Mariposa affordable housing development in Denver, Colorado. The Mariposa District is a nationally recognized redevelopment known for its commitment to the residents, environment, and creation of vibrant, mixed-income communities.

Denver Health and Hospital Authority (DHHA) Outpatient Medical Center (OMC)

The overall Project included the construction of the building, all tenant buildout for DHHA, as well as the purchase of a significant amount of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) necessary to operate the OMC. The NMTC Loans were used to finance a portion of the Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment to be installed at the Project.
